MedNote | NoteBuilder is a web-based tool for generating text for clinical notes - either inpatient or outpatient. I originally wrote this to serve as a checklist, to remind myself of things like starting an H2 blocker or PPI whenever I give steroids for a COPD exacerbation. Over time, it has evolved into a little more, and I use it to emit a lot of boilerplate for common medical plans. You generate the text for a note in the web page, then copy and paste it into your electronic medical record. This lack of integration brings with it platform-independance, and I have used this with Epic, Cerner, CPRS, Sunrise, and IU's G3. |
